Your message was very timely. In our October web site we will be featuring the work of an Afro American Designer, Pam Davenport. She utilizes the CARON collection threads in her designs which have an ethnic origin. She has a series of designs that feature stylized female figures of different races. Each figure's dress is adorned with ethnic pattterns. We are in the process of publishing chart packs for her designs with an expected completion date of December 1997. Watch for news at this site. We will also be dedicated an entire issue of this site to ethnic and international needllework with designers from overseas and a gallery of international designs including some folk art from my trip to Kazakstan.
